January 2015 – Rothschild Bank has been hired by lenders, that helped to get Manchester Building Society out of trouble two years ago, to conduct a review of its finances. “Your” Nationwide Building Society, the main backer, is seeking the review as Manchester Building Society continues to have financial problems despite the loans.
However a statement by the society (not shown on their website) tells members that all is well.
