June 2016 – Nationwide Building Society’s voting papers are on their way. As usual the directors of this so-called mutual society are using ballot papers that are undemocratic and biased.
The only way you can make the directors accountable is to put a cross in every “Against” box on the ballot paper.
Make sure you request a copy of the Annual Report to get the full picture – phone 0800 33 55 99 or call at your local branch.
Please attend their AGM at the Sage complex in Gateshead if you can. This will probably be one of the most poorly attended meetings that the directors can arrange.
As usual “your” directors are holding “their” AGM on a weekday which is convenient for “them” not for members. “Your” Nationwide!
