Ex-Nationwide Deputy CEO Joins NHS (and Santander)

May 2020 – Tony Prestedge the ex-deputy CEO of the Nationwide Building Society who waits to join Santander Bank in the autumn as deputy CEO has now been recruited to help Dido Harding as she struggles to get the NHS Track and Trace programme off the ground.  Prestedge was the techy chappy at Nationwide and it is hoped that he will be able to give the kiss of life to the app based part of the T&T programme.  It just so happens that Harding the chair of NHS Improvement and by coincidence David Roberts chair of Nationwide is also deputy chair of NHS England and these two NHS organisations hold joint meetings.  So no cronyism there then.
